Come along to Sham Rocks Festival, 10th & 11th of May, New Milton!!
Our counsellors practise across a range of modalities which is why we can tailor our support to you. All of our counsellors are qualified (minimum Diploma Level 4), hold an enhanced DBS, are registered with the BACP and/or NCPS, are fully insured and receive mandatory clinical supervision at least twice a month. As an organisation, we adhere to the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society Code of Ethics to ensure good practice.
Kirsty has opted in for a combination of Social Role Models; 7 Generic Tasks of Supervision (Carroll, 2010) and The Functional Model (Inskipp & Proctor, 2001), while underwriting this with a Developmental Model (Stoltenberg & Delworth, 1987) and making use of her Gestalt and ACT skill set – integrating Humanistic and Behavioural theories and practice. She supervises groups and individuals, counsellors, coaches, other helping professionals and frontline staff.
Tanya's approach prioritises the supervisory alliance, which is the cornerstone of her relational philosophy. She uses the Seven-eyed model of supervision by Hawkins and Shohet as a primary framework. Additionally, Tanya incorporates the Functions Model by Proctor (1987) and an Integrative Developmental Model by Stoltenberg and McNeill (2010). Her goal is to empower supervisees to develop their practice in an authentic way that suits their individual strengths.
