What motivates you to be a therapist?
I have always enjoyed helping others and have a strong desire to help you to reach your full potential by understanding what concerns you, your individual differences and how we can work together to form a better version of yourself.
How would you describe your approach to therapy?
As a pluralistic therapist I believe that no two people are ever the same, we all need to be treated as individuals so pluralistic therapy provides a multitude of different methods to help get the best out of working together to create a better version of you.
How would you describe your personality in three words?
Calm, scatty and fun.
How do you, as a therapist, stay balanced and motivated?
Continuing professional development keeps me motivated to support, whilst prioritising self-care and time out for myself keeps me balanced so I can give the best possible version of myself to you.
How much room do you allow for humour and lightness in sessions?
As much as you want! I believe humour helps a great deal in even the most serious
situations as life can sometimes get so serious, we all could benefit from a few good laughs here and there whilst still remaining professional and productive in our sessions together.
