Placement Opportunities 

Throughout the year we have several placement / volunteer opportunities for counsellors, who are at least Diploma (Level 4) qualified, and are in training towards DipHE, BA/Bsc (hons) and/or working towards accreditation. We believe working with a counsellor in training has amazing benefits; you are eager to learn and want to find out how best to support your clients. Our organisational objective to work towards the highest industry standards is met with our supportive, educative and sometimes challenging culture. We offer placements to counsellors who are Diploma (Level 4) qualified, have acquired their fitness to practice and hold relevant membership status with either the BACP or the NCPS. 

We have volunteer placements available throughout the year, whereby you commit to at least one time slot (up to 3 clients), bi-weekly supervision, quarterly team meetings and CPD (the latter two usually on a Saturday). Please be aware that in principle all our counselling, supervision, team meetings and CPD are in person at our offices in Southampton. 

We are currently not recruiting for KvLS Bournemouth.
