What motivates you to be a therapist?
I've always felt deeply drawn to understanding people - your stories, your struggles, your inner world. Life can be overwhelming and unpredictable, and I want you to know you don’t have to navigate it alone. My own journey has had its share of challenges, and through that, I’ve learned the power of healing, support, and self-awareness.
Therapy is a powerful space - not just for processing pain, but for rediscovering yourself, building awareness, and creating change. I’m here because I care deeply about helping you move from feeling stuck, lost, or disconnected, toward clarity, self-compassion, and growth. I’m constantly learning - both professionally and personally - and feel honoured to walk alongside you as you explore your own path.
How would you describe your approach to therapy?
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I truly believe in meeting you where you are - emotionally, mentally, and even energetically. Each session is a space where you can show up as you are, without judgement or expectation.
I work pluralistically, meaning I draw from various therapeutic approaches - including Psychodynamic, CBT, and Person-Centered - and adapt depending on what you need at any given moment. We might explore emotions, untangle past experiences, shift unhelpful patterns, or simply create space for you to breathe and reflect.
I also have an interest in the mind-body connection, nervous system, etc. which can be particularly helpful for anxiety, trauma, and stress-related symptoms. Whether we’re looking inward, making practical changes, or simply holding space for what is - I want you to feel supported, safe, and truly seen.
What are your core values in working with clients?
Authenticity. Safety. Presence.
I believe therapy is about being real - both you and me. There are no quick fixes, and I don’t have all the answers, but I offer a grounded and compassionate space where we can explore, reflect, and heal together. I meet you with curiosity, empathy, and deep respect for your individual journey.
How do you, as a therapist, stay balanced and motivated?
I take care of myself so I can better support you. Movement is a big part of that - yoga, weight training, and walks in nature help me feel grounded. I also love getting out into the world through hiking and getting lost in a good fantasy book.
I’m constantly learning - attending workshops, reading, listening to podcasts, and doing my own inner work. Staying connected to my own growth process helps me show up more fully for yours.
What do you hope clients take away from their session(s) with you?
My hope is that you leave each session feeling just a little more connected to yourself. Maybe lighter. Maybe clearer. Maybe just a bit more hopeful.
I want you to feel seen, heard, and supported - and to know that someone is in your corner. Over time, I hope you begin to build a stronger sense of self, develop tools to navigate life’s challenges, and reconnect with the parts of you that have always been there - just waiting to be rediscovered.
