How do you create a safe and trusted environment during sessions?
I’m big on kindness and zero judgment.
We go at your speed—nothing gets pushed before you’re ready.
I hold space for all emotions, even the messy ones.
And I’m always checking in to make sure you feel okay.
What can clients expect from an initial session with you?
We’ll talk like two people getting to know each other.
There’s no pressure to work through everything right away.
I’ll ask a few gentle questions, but mostly I’ll listen.
By the end, we’ll see if it feels like a good fit.
What are your favourite techniques or methods in therapy?
I blend theoretical techniques, adding in mindfulness, and somatic tools.
But really, I follow what fits you best.
Sometimes it’s deep reflection, sometimes just actively listening or guiding towards a deeper understanding of ourselves.
Connection comes first—the techniques follow.
What inspires you outside of work to continue developing your practice?
Books, poetry, long talks with thoughtful people.
I’m always curious—learning new things lights me up.
Even watching a film or listening to music can spark insight.
Life itself is the best teacher.
How much room do you allow for humour and lightness in sessions?
So much room! It can keep us grounded.
Humour can be healing—it helps us breathe through the hard stuff.
Sometimes a laugh says more than words ever can!
We’re all human, and I think therapy should feel that way too.
