Low Cost Counselling in Southampton, Bournemouth and online!
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck?
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
We offer weekly counselling sessions - starting from just £25 per session.
You decide how much you pay. You decide how long you stay.
We’re here to listen, support and walk alongside you - at your pace.
We endeavour to respond within 48 hours - no pressure, no obligation.
Whether you're facing a specific problem or just need someone to listen, we’re here for you.
Whatever’s going on - at home, at work, in your relationships, or just within yourself - we’re here to support you. Together, we’ll look at what’s getting in the way and help you find practical tools and emotional support to get through it.
We use a range of approaches including CBT, psychotherapy, Gestalt, humanistic counselling, ACT, mindfulness and more. Your counsellor will work with you to find what fits best. Our aim is to help you understand yourself better, feel more in control, and make the changes that matter to you.
There’s no long waiting list - once we receive your intake form, we aim to match you with a counsellor within two weeks.
If you or someone you care about could use some support, get in touch.
We’re here to listen.
Single Session Therapy might be a better fit for you.
Sometimes one focused conversation is enough to help you feel clearer, more grounded, or better able to move forward. Single Session Therapy (SST) can support you with things like low mood, anxiety, relationship worries, or just feeling stuck.
At KvLS, SST is all about working on one specific issue. Before your session, we’ll give you some reflection questions to help you prepare. That way, you and your therapist can get straight to work. Your session lasts up to 75 minutes, and we usually offer an appointment within a week of receiving your completed prep.
SST can also help you decide whether you’d benefit from ongoing support. It’s not the same as regular counselling - and it’s not suitable in a crisis.
If you are in crisis, please contact your GP, the Samaritans (116 123), or call the NHS on 111.
Our Single Session Therapy fee starts from £75.
If you are experiencing a crisis or have thoughts to self-harm, please contact the Samaritans on 116 123 for free or visit their website.
Alternatively if you live in Bitterne or Shirley, The Lighthouse is open for drop in between 4.30pm and 10.30pm.
